Macronomy Official Release
Greetings everyone.
First and foremost, thank you for coming here to read this devlog. It has been a long road to get here, starting with an idea for a game, a first attempt at making it with Unity, and now the new updated version made with Godot.
There were multiple early alpha versions, and a handful of beta versions of the Unity version. Some went pretty well, and one almost completely broke and derailed everything. Thankfully, those errors and issues were identified by the awesome supporters of the project. Without them, we wouldn't be sitting here with the version we now have.
There are some pretty significant improvements now as well. The menu switching is more intelligent and polished, as well as increased functionality during gameplay. We have implemented a deselect option for when the player makes a wrong selection during their turn, as well as modified the resource count for determining a game over.
We have lots more planned, including custom made music and highscore tracking. We also have a discord setup for discussion about this game and our other projects, so feel free to join us there for discussions and more information.
